Founder & CEO

Dr. Seheno ANDRIANTSARALAZA, the passionate founder & CEO of Ampela, is dedicated to empowering women and protecting Madagascarʼs baobab habitats.

As a founder of this non-profit organization, I am driven by my journey growing up in one of the poorest countries in the world, where women face persistent marginalization and educational opportunities are scarce. Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Madagascar’s baobabs and the urgent need to change the research and conservation landscape.I envision a world where all women have equal access and participation in the conservation of our unique biodiversity.
